Built on Fitness Street
In 2024, we opened Chalong Air Recovery Lounge in the heart of Phuket’s famous Fitness Street.
It brought together the things I enjoyed and believed every hard-training athlete should have access to: Compression recovery, ice baths, a hot tub, a small combat gym, sneakers, quality cannabis (not for everyone) and a comfortable place to spend time between sessions.
Our gym was operated in partnership with close friend, G-Boxing, trainer to multiple world champions, creating a space where training and recovery naturally went hand in hand.
Over the next 13 months, more than a thousand people came through our doors.
We welcomed everyone from people trying compression therapy for the first time to professional athletes competing at the highest level. UFC athletes including Petr Yan, Lerone Murphy and Gleison Tibau visited during their time in Phuket. RWS and ONE Championship athletes became regulars, including ONE World Champions Allycia Hellen Rodrigues and Stella Hemetsberger, alongside undefeated prospect Nauris Bartoska, upcoming global superstar Namo Fazil and young phenom Adam Progress, now competing in Dirty Boxing.
The compression systems quickly became the equipment people kept coming back for. Athletes would finish training, recover in the lounge, then return again the following day. Some even borrowed our systems to take with them when competing in Bangkok.
Over time it became clear that this was the part of Chalong Air we wanted to take beyond Fitness Street.
Today, every Chalong Air compression system is built on what we learned inside our recovery lounge. We took the systems athletes trusted, refined them through real-world use and developed them into the modular Chalong Air Pro platform, complete with improved connectors and interchangeable accessories.
To help people recover better, train more consistently and enjoy the process.
Whether you’re preparing for your next fight, your next marathon or your next gym session, you don’t need to be in Chalong to recover like the athletes who trained there.
The lounge may be gone, but the recovery lives on.
